After two years of being locked out of schools due to Covid restrictions and lock downs, 2022’s National Science Week has seen Street Science entertain and engage over 17,000 students from around Australia, making this year’s event the best the company has seen. This year’s National Science Week theme of Glass: More than Meets the Eye was embraced by the Street Science team and turned into their most successful National Science Week show; Breaking Point; The way glass shatters matters, was a resounding success with teachers and students around the country. And for the first time Street Science were able to take their show beyond Southeast Queensland. Streaming live from the newly built Street Science Studio, students in schools from Western Australia to NSW as well as schools in regional and far north Queensland were able to celebrate National Science Week with Street Science. No other science education provider in the country is offering this level of engagement.

“What a cracker this year’s National Science Week has been! After a challenging couple of years with Covid, it was awesome for the Street Science team to be back in schools for National Science Week and doing what we love best – engaging children in science.
